Courses Description

What are cities? Are they healthy in terms of exercise? What could be an ideal healthy Auckland for our future?

We will look into cities and Change: Active Auckland. How is transport changing in Auckland? 

A study into Cycling and Walking paths to promote a greener city and better health. https://at.govt.nz/cycling-walking/cycling-walking-paths/ and report on whether this is a solution and what other options would be ideal for us here and now. We will also explore the ideas of sustainable cities from other case studies globally before we prepare a report on Cycle and Walking paths in Auckland and their effectiveness. Overall recommendations from individual reports will be shared with our community and actions to create the ideal solutions will be started.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 
All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
