Courses Description

Are you ready to launch into life? In this module students will develop employability skills including how to search and apply for jobs, how to write a winning CV, how to present yourself for the workplace and develop job interview skills. They will also have the option to complete a Gateway placement.
Students will take part in the Dressed in Confidence programme which is a wellness programme that takes you on a journey of self-discovery and confidence-building.
This module builds from Career Explorer in Trimester 1 and will suit year 12 or 13 students who are aiming to achieve NCEA level 2 and are planning on moving straight into work or a training course when they leave school.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
