Te Ara Moemoea
This is our pathway of dreams and aspirations. It encompasses Careers, Gateway and our Trade Academy. Our vision is for every student to have a career plan for their future. Te Ara Moemoea connects our inschool learning to the real world.
It is part of our Hāpori (Community) strand that provides reciprocal, real world and authentic learning opportunities for all students so they can lead and learn locally and globally. This takes place across a number of mediums. The first is through Inquiry Pop Up Passions (iPuPs). Here, students engage in deep and rich learning that is connected to discovery, enjoyment, student interest and passions. It is here that students are working in multi-level classes (Yr 9-13) and are gaining many life skills and real-world opportunities to learn. T The vision of this Strand is to empower our students to lead with mana and integrity wherever they find themselves.
