Courses Description

Head of Pathway: Mrs K. Lousi.

This module provides students opportunities for learning to construct and identify main aspects of who they are, their identity, through their Samoan culture/aganu’u. In addition, they will learn to use some simple Samoan fa’afeiloaiga. Class discussions, demonstrations and sharing activities which will enable students to discover how to use different greetings for different people, using their own words. Students will explore the advantages and disadvantages and also recognise some key components of Samoan aganu’u during this unit.

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
