Courses Description

Head of Pathway: Mrs K. Lousi.

In this module we will learn about Algebra and Measurements. This is a module where you can learn to write equations from a graph, table and patterns and measure any objects with the correct units. You will get a chance to use your measurement skills. You can measure your height, weight or the gym. This is a more hands-on module and also an opportunity for you to learn some basic Tongan language, different Tongan patterns and many more. You will demonstrate your understanding by applying your numeracy skills through solving problems.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
