Highlights of the course:

If you are passionate about FITNESS both Mental(Mathematics/Numeracy) and Physical(Physical Education), this is the module for you.

  • This module has a  Numeracy Focus integrating Maths with Physical Education. 
  • "Numeracy" refers to the ability to understand and work with numbers, as well as to apply mathematical concepts effectively in various contexts.
  • This Module aims to offer an Integrated approach towards learning where students can  enhance critical thinking, teamwork, and physical competence, preparing them for academic challenges and fostering a lifelong commitment to Numeracy  and Fitness.

Learning Outcomes:

Students are expected to apply these mathematical skills to practical scenarios in Physical Education
emphasising measurement and numerical analysis in fitness assessments, sports analysis by the end of the Module.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
