INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

OVERVIEW:

  • Wednesday or Thursday 9am - 3pm
  • Techtorium in Newmarket
  • Up to 30 US credits at Level 2 and/or 3

If you are interested in entering the booming IT industry then this course is for you.

Techtorium offers courses in network and software engineering, cloud technologies and securities. Students will be able to select a course that suits their interests.

PATHWAYS

Diplomas or certificates in Information Technology.

If combined with 3 to 4 University approved subjects at Level 3, this course could lead to university study in computer science.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
