We will learn about the patterns and processes of global tourism, the concept of over-tourism and the social and economic impacts of tourism in different places around the world.

Students who achieve at a high level will be able to make judgements, backed by evidence, about the impacts of tourism on different places around the world.

Geography Processes Unleashed - Geography

If students take this module, which modules will they be well set up for in the future? What career pathway will it help them follow?

Trimester 3 Geography. Students who take and pass Geography in all 3 trimesters will be able to reach the 14 credit minimum in order to get a subject endorsement in Geography for University entrance.

Potential careers: planning, resource management, infrastructure project development, engineer, architect, etc.

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
