Courses Description

Head of Pathway:

This course will build on your learning from Level 2 English. The context through which all learning will take place is that of Global Womanhood. 

Here we will be exploring global views on being a woman through the Feminist Lens - "The belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes."

This module focuses on ‘The Future is Feminist’ through the Feminist Lens. 

It’ll connect to themes of Sexual (Workplace) Harassment, Female Empowerment etc.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
