Courses Description

Think you know what it takes to survive? In this course, you'll discover the incredible ways that animals adapt to their environments. From the deepest oceans to the highest mountains, life has found a way - but it's not always easy! 

You will like this course if you want to know more about animals, including us humans. Uncover the secrets of genetics as we explore how organisms change over time. Are you ready to face the ultimate challenge and understand what it truly means to survive?

In this module we will cover 2 internally assessed standards, 1 and the second half of the External exam (animals part).

NOTE: this module only covers HALF of the Bio 3.3 external. To cover ALL of the external you will need to take trimester 1 as well.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
