Courses Description

Head of Pathway:

Plants are the starting point of any food web and sustain much of the life on our planet. Not only do they provide us with nourishment, they have also been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. We will learn about plants and their responses to the environment alongside how Humans have used plants and continue to use them today. 

In this module we will cover 2 internally assessed standards, and cover half of the External exam (plants part). Details below

NOTE: this module only covers HALF of the external, to cover ALL of the external you will need to take trimester 2 as well.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
