Party Physics - Mathematics and Physics

2PART1MS
Courses Description

Head of Pathway: Ms M. Yelkur, Ms L. Neveling.

Turns out there’s a bit of maths and science behind throwing a good party! Catering logistics, space requirements, lasers, speakers - someone has to think about those things and plan for a good time.

The "Party Physics" integrated module offers students an opportunity to explore the interconnections between Mathematics and Physics through applied learning. The module is designed to deepen students' understanding of

  • Trigonometric methods
  • waves
  • light
  • sound

This course will foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, providing a comprehensive understanding of the principles that underpin both disciplines.

Do you one day wanna run the lighting at coachella? Do sound checks for Rihanna? Or do you want a solid physics and maths foundation for medicine, engineering, and other study? This is the course for you!
