Courses Description

Do you have an eye for design? Learn the design principles for logos and branding to create an array of coordinated work in this fun, creative class! Learn to use design techniques with handmade art as well as digital techniques with Photoshop. 

In this course you will build and style your designs with the colours, patterns, type and shapes that best communicate your brand's values. You will create a collection of pieces that showcase your design from business cards, packages, posters, t-shirts, magazines, and more!

You will like this course if you enjoy working with colour, pattern, text, imagery and graphics. This course will give you a foundation in the principles of design that could carry you to a career path in creative design fields like fashion design, graphic design, web design and more!

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
