Courses Description

Head of Pathway: Ms R. Eveleigh.

You will read stories that highlight our heritage, culture, family ties and most importantly our roots. Drama will complete the 1.2 (91941) assessment which is creating a play about your roots. (5 credits). 

Within the English space you will have an opportunity to explore and formulate key ideas to develop both formal and creative skills for writing and presentation. Understanding writing strategies, outlines, editing and drafting are important aspects for a solid foundation in making and creating meaning. 1.1 (5 credits

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
