Imagine creating your own digital shape art while learning measuring and numeracy at the same time! Welcome to ShapeTech & Measuring Fun, where we blend the art of digital media with the precision of mathematics.
Get ready for an exciting adventure where maths meets the art of shape manipulation! This trimester, you'll master measuring with scales, calculating the perimeter and area of shapes, and exploring circles and prisms. Dive into numbers with place value, integers, BEDMAS, fractions, and more! Then, bring your maths skills to life in our tech class by crafting amazing digital art with shape tessellations! Design using shapes, and kowhaiwhai, in a fun digital program that will alter your creative reality. It's a digital way to learn and have fun—maths has never been this creative!
What will you learn?
- In Maths you will be exploring - shapes, symmetry, rotation etc, 2D/3D. Number - whole number, F/D/%
- In Digital Tech you will be using digital tools to combine shapes and creative art to build digital, mind-bending tessellations!

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses.
All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
