Courses Description
Head of Pathway:
Come on a voyage of exploration where we investigate what it takes to be an astronaut travelling to far off places and the effects on them and their loved ones.
You will be put your self in the place of an astronaut as we deep dive into understanding space exploration and consider what it means to us as New Zealanders. We will explore the short NZ film Tawhiti which follows five Māori astronauts who have returned to Earth after living on Mars for five years.
The module will be delivered with self directing learning, teacher led learning and practical activities.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses.
All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
