No, we’re not just eating doughnuts! We all know there are economic problems in the world - inequality, exploitation, the destruction of the natural world, overuse of resources, etc., all of which lead to conflict. Social Studies is about solutions to problems, sustainable economics is being made real right now as a solution to many of our problems. We will be exploring what sustainable economics is via this model:
This means 21st century Economics - how do we make businesses and live our lives and care for the planet and society? This module will look into the economic models of the past, present, and the potential ones for the future. Mathematics in this module will involve graphing, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses.
All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
