Sustainable Business
Courses Description
Head of Pathway: Mr G. Van den Hoeven.
Module Summary: Business is about doing. This module runs on from L2 Business and you must create, run and evaluate a sustainable business of YOUR choosing. This means you do everything, teachers do NOT run it, you do! Teachers will be there for advice only. Students will have three areas: Planning, Running and Evaluating.
The main idea in this module is reality - this is a real business and will be by and for students with the local community directly involved. Students will be presenting their ideas to people within and outside the school, for instance Kelston Community Hub.
Create a business - this continues from T1 as the business must be over a long period of time and this standard is worth 9 Credits: AS91384: Carry out, with consultation, an innovative and sustainable business activity. (9 Credits)
