Course Description

FOOD TECHNOLOGY This program gives students the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of product design in food technology. Students will develop thinking skills, teamwork and time management as they learn put their ideas to the test. Students will walk away with a confidence in the kitchen, which is a valuable life skill. Students will do this by developing an understanding of: Applying the principles of nutrition and healthy cooking, Food hygiene and safety, Evaluating, exploring and testing different foods/ recipes to adapt and create own food product.
