Te Whanaketanga - Te Tuatoru - Māori
Courses Description
Head of Pathway: Ms L. Neveling.
Get ready to dive into the world of words and stories like never before! In Year 9 and 10 literacy, you'll explore the powerful voices of Māori singers, whose lyrics resonate with the rhythms of life and the spirit of the land.
You'll taste the rich flavors of Māori cuisine, uncovering the stories and traditions behind each dish. As you read, write, and create, you'll connect with the heart of Māori culture, learning how language can preserve history, express identity, and inspire change. This isn't just about reading and writing it's about discovering your voice and how it can add to the rich tapestry of stories that shape who we are.
