In this course you will…

  • Explore Fresh off the Boat by Oscar Kightley and delve into Pacifica Theatre’s impact in Aotearoa and perform an extract from the play for the 1.1 (91940) assessment (5 credits) and complete the 1.4 (91943) external by writing about a live performance.

  • Attend a live theatre trip to inspire your 1.4 (91943) external assessment. 

  • In English, you’ll also tackle AS 1.1, exploring how context shapes verbal language use (5 credits).

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
