AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING PATHWAYS

Apprenticeships in automotive, mechanical engineering, panel beating or car refinishing

Pre-trades courses in a range of fields:

  • automotive engineering
  • mechanical engineering
  • welding

OVERVIEW:

L2 = Wednesday 8.30am - 2.30pm

L3 = Tuesday 8.30am -2.30pm

Unitec Mt Albert 20+ Level 2 or 3 US credits

If you are interested in pursuing a career in automotive or other types of mechanical engineering you can build your experience in this hands on course

  • Content includes: 
    • understanding the key aspects of cars and how to work with them

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses. 

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module  (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
