Last Minute Physics - Physics
Courses Description
Head of Pathway:
This is a course designed to give physics students what they need at the end of the year. There are two options for student focus:
- Exam revision for Waves and Mechanics: Students can have taken only Tri 1 physics (Ngā Whetū!) and focus solely on waves; or students can have taken only Tri 2 physics (Get on board!) and focus solely on mechanics; or students can have taken both Tri 1 and Tri 2 physics and concentrate on both externals
- Should New Zealand get Nuclear Power? A written report. Students will complete the Physics socio-scientific report internal, concentrating on the question of nuclear power in New Zealand. Students must have taken Tri 1 physics (Ngā Whetū!) to choose this option, but they do not have to have taken Tri 2 physics.
This course will help physics students prepare for their term 4 assessments, no matter what form that takes.
