The Business of Tourism - Trades

OVERVIEW:
- Fridays 9.30am - 3pm

- Auckland city campus
- 30 L3 US credits
This course focuses on developing skills in human resource management, marketing, strategic planning, research and more.
An integral part of this course is developing links with tourism industry partners. Students will visit and participate innumerous travel and tourism activities which will give them first hand experience of this
exciting industry.
PATHWAYS
- Certificates and diplomas in Tourism or business.
- Entry level customer service roles.
- If combined with 3 or 4 university approved subjects, students could pursue university degrees in tourism, hospitality management or business.

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
