Nuclear Power is a contentious topic; the clean energy answer to a climate crisis, or a ticking time bomb that goes against the green image of New Zealand?
Nuclear Power is very cool, and not as difficult as it sounds - at the end of this module you’ll be able to call yourself a (mad) nuclear scientist!
In this module you will learn the nuclear physics of two different forms of energy - solar energy, and nuclear energy. You can then use this learning for two internals: Demonstrate understanding of Nuclear Physics (Test) (3 credits) and Develop an informed response to a socio-scientific issue (Report) (3 credits).
