Power up your words! - English and Science
Courses Description
Head of Pathway: Ms L. Neveling.
Ever wondered why a rollercoaster gives you butterflies, or how a mug of hot chocolate keeps you warm? Buckle up, because this module is going on a wild ride through the world of energy! We'll smash together mechanical energy (think high fives and rollercoasters!), thermal energy (the heat is definitely on!), and heat energy (what makes things hot or cold?). Get ready for mind-blowing experiments, epic energy transformations, and unlocking the secrets behind how our world works. In English you will get to watch exciting Science videos, read about the latest Scientific breakthroughs, and explore how writers and scientists work hand in hand to inspire real change in different contexts.
In this high energy module, you will also have the opportunity to unleash your imagination through creative writing and storytelling activities. This module has got the power and energy you are looking for!
