Samoan
In this module, students will have the courage and the resilience of showing cultural knowledge and communication in Gagana Samoa for writing and speaking about an engaging journey of the rich cultural tapestry within Pasifika communities. This course unpacks the unique traditions, values, and histories that define Pasifika cultures, fostering a deep appreciation for diversity.
Students will have the opportunity to tell their story about choices they are given to enjoy working around environments and be happy to connect within diversities. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how Pasifika societies celebrate and embrace their cultural identities, values and uphold the pride of who they are.
Studying and Participating in Polyfest performance- Talk about why they are delighted in taking part, participating and contributing towards diversities.
Students will plan and research the role of cultural heritage in shaping community values and individual identity.
Emphasis will be placed on recognizing and valuing diverse perspectives, encouraging students to reflect on their own cultural backgrounds and how they interact with others.
Students will compile all information and research findings in a Writing Portfolio.

This module is designed for students to explore the act of speaking and writing. At the same time,we are celebrating your identity and the beauty of your culture and diversities.
SIgnificant learning of growing literacy in English and Samoan. We can make connections in bilingual settings and also do fun activities using a translanguaging model to help express and celebrate students' perspectives and their real characters.

All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
