Oceans of Algebra - Maths and Science

Courses Description

Head of Pathway:

Oceans of Algebra focuses on the Moana, our impact on the natural environment, and how we are changing the chemistry of the ocean around us. By applying mathematics to our study of the ocean, this module will give you skills to investigate chemical reactions that affect our oceans.

A current issue is ocean acidification, which impacts on plants and animals in the oceans, not to mention corals. This would be another area of interest for our learning.

This module is compulsory for Health Science academy students.
