Courses Description

Head of Pathway: Ms M. Yelkur, Ms L. Neveling.

In Kelston Med, we will focus on medical issues in our community, using a range of scientific and mathematical investigation techniques.

You will learn about the uniqueness and suitability of a science investigation approach to collect data, process information and make conclusions.  

Learning through this internal assessment students would build a repertoire of choosing from a variety of investigation approaches, collecting data, making interpretations based on the given data, and discussing with knowledgeable others to explore and observe the medical issue of (AMR) Antimicrobial resistance among Pasifika people. All approaches would add toward understanding the specific part of information and building a holistic understanding of the medical issue prevalent in the Pasifika community(study context).

Students who select this module in Trimester1 are Highly recommended  to select  Oceans of algebra in Trimester 2 and Finishing Well in Trimester 3 as these modules are weaved in well to prepare you well  for External Examination.

All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
