Level 1 Digital Information Management
Students will be:
learning how to digital computer skills and improving their literacy
working in groups and in individual learning programmes
This course covers Digital Information and English Literacy. We use a range of software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office and Photoshop, Aurazma) to create original content. Specifically in this course you will learning to use correct fingering to key in text, create a powerpoint, enter data into a spreadsheet, create a website, and augmented reality. We will focus on ensuring that our outcomes are easy to use and contain original graphics. Good design habits play an important part in what we do and you will learn how to create print and online media that could be used in the real world. We will discovering how augmented reality can be used and how images can be edited using Phototshop.
METHODS OF ASSESSMENT
Assessment will include keying in given text, creating a digital slideshow and prototyping (website).
