What does “Educate to Liberate” mean for you? This course explores ideas about liberation, freedom and compromise. You will explore connections between yourself and the impact of systems of inequality and advocacy - standing up for oneself and for others.
Select this module to become a part of this collaborative learning space, where you will encourage each other to speak up, think critically, and share experiences about overcoming adversity and raising the standard, for yourselves and our community. Learn from our History as a nation, as migrants connecting to the globe, through research and literature.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.

Once a student makes their selections and confirms these, any changes must be accompanied by a letter of support from Whanau and are subject to available spaces in courses.
All Junior Bilingual students must select the literacy and numeracy modules in the language of their pathway each trimester and one other integrated language module (3 out of 4 of their modules must be bilingual).
All senior Bilingual students must take all modules available in the language of their pathway.
